Last January...

I married the love of my life, Patrick. After the wedding (click here for pictures from the wedding), we moved into our 'cute' (read: tiny) apartment that was within walking distance of everything we have both loved having access to for a few years now: restaurants, bars, entertainment and transportation. Life was great, albiet cramped. In the summer we began to look for a house but could find nothing that screamed 'home' to us, at least that was in our price range. While looking, we found out that we would soon be blessed with our first child, so that officially put the breaks on the home shopping. However due to this wonderful news, we would still need to find a new home since our 'cute' apartment could not fit another book in it - let alone a baby. We were very fortunate to find a great home that would be a perfect place to start our family. So, during the week of Christmas with the help of my parents and three great movers (although I think Patrick alone worked harder than 10 people) we made the trek across the Potomac and moved from Maryland to Virginia. Now that we are getting all settled and delivery day is getting closer, it is time to start getting ready for our baby girl's arrival!
